Literacy

The literacy department at BCSIS supports classroom teachers with delivering effective literacy instruction for all students in the classroom. Trained literacy teachers provide small group instruction for students who need specialized, supplemental work in order to progress as readers and writers. Trained teachers also coach and supervise para educators to instruct students in small groups. Through these varied means, we work to address the needs of all our students.
