Movement and Physical Education

In Movement we use motion games, activities, and music  to develop vocabulary, body/space awareness, creative expression, ​ability to work in collaboration with others and exploration of the creative process in 1st and 2nd grades. In 3rd grade we move into playing sports and learning team cooperation as it relates to a more traditional physical education model. Throughout the year we develop a creative movement project related to a topic being studied in the classroom curriculum.
